I just heard that being a black lesbian woman was such a great thing. You know men could have that whole male thang fixed too and we could all be part of the top group. I wondering if it such a easy job being black and female then why aren't there lines trying to join the club?

I'm not white, I'm clear. I'm also a red head. Growing up was difficult. You talk about being a minority. I got teased by both blacks & whites. I tried those pills & turned orange. I had skin that matched my hair, YIKES. I don't think being black is easy but it does seem to have improved alot over the years. Imagine if I had a child with a black person. A freckled face black person may not be an attactive sight. Hope you have a wonderful & safe New Year.
Hey, who gave me the thumbs down. What-up whid-dat

White people sit outside and get tans all the time. Why take pills. If you are in a hot environment their skin color will evolve eventually. And the earth will only get hotter since we are moving closer to the sun!

There are long lines of Beautiful Black Woman trying to get in the clubs where I am from!

Weird question. I never heard of a pill that could make you Black, and I'm not so sure i would go so far as to say that it is easier being black, we all have our good times and our hardships., and it has nothing to do with race.
I will say this, though: I look like casper the friendly ghost in the summertime; all i do is burn. I've seen black folks with the most beautiful skin, it just looks healthier or something.....

If all whites turned black there would be no white oppressor.
Then Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would lose their jobs.
And no one wants those upstanding, moral men to lose their jobs.

Not only that but the mandatory re-education/diversity classes at work are so much fun.
I couldn't face the thought of not being treated to them each year.

its good to be proud of your race, truth is i dont want to be known as a lazy person that has stupid lookin gold teeth, pants draggin the ground, talkin like i had a mouth full of rocks, illiterate slang talking, every other sentence is" know whut i mean" walking around grabbing myself loud talking, yeah ...real Great you are a joke. that would be like a white saying if white is so great why dont blacks do it, You are ignorant and i cant believe that i took the time to humor this crap....by the way very very happy being WHITE!!!!!!!

i think people should be comfortable in the skin they were born with. there is no point for people to change the color on their exterior because, as cheesy as it sounds, it is what is on the inside that counts.

however, i do not think that it is easier being black than it is white. or vise versa for that matter.

Claiming to be what you not are doesn't make it so. Stop thinking about what color you what to be, be what color you are. You are an individual person not just a black [or white or yellow or red] person, be good be nice, that is all that count. [from a white dude]

Being black and female lends us the problem of having two swords in our backs. It's better to just love who we are in the here and now.

Why would any white want to become black? Or vice versa?

? Who said being black is "great and easy?" I doubt most white people would change their skin color because most of that population buys clothes that fit AROUND our waists. We don't refer to each other with racial epitaphs, and we don't blame our shortcomings on "the system" or another race.
