I totally know how you feel. You afraid and confused. I agree with most of the other answers you've recieved. But you need to tell A the truth because if you don't then you'll lose him as a friend. Just tell him everything you say in those last few sentences. Tell him that you and B talked while he was away and worked everything out. If A isn't giong to be your friend just because you and B made up... well then A isn't a very good friend.
Good Luck! :]

I think this is very mature of you. I would just tell A exactly what happened. At least now you don't have to hold a grudge toward B anymore. You can see eachother in school without having to avoid eachother. Like you said you will not be B's best friend anymore but at least you can be friendly with him. Be honest with A. I believe he'll understand, especially if he's a true friend.

You really need to tell A and you need to do it asap because A will be so hurt if they find out on their own.
So I would sit A down and talk to them, try to explain that you want to give B a chance and that you would like if they gave B a chance aswell but the main point of the conversation is so that you can listen to A about their feelings.

Well, just tell A that you and B have made amends, that B clearly apologized and you forgave him. You could also try to make A and B friends again so all three of you can enjoy hanging out again.
Good luck!

Just tell A the truth, remember he supported you through you differences with B at the time. Say it the way you told us, that you are still friend s with B but not bes buds.

Just tell him! Get it over with, as long as he knows you forgave B then I'm sure he will just go along with you, it's all in the past now.

explain him calmly that u and B have let bygones be bygones but that u're not sure that u can be best friends with B again.A will surely not appreciate that coz u said that he doesn't like B,but he'll have to understand coz firstly,it wasn't on him that B said bad things but on u and secondly,it's u and only u who choose with whom u wanna be friends;u don't need A to agree with ya choices.with time,he'll surely understand ya decision and forgive B too

Since their fight involved you, instead of telling A I would urge B to make amends with A.
