Hi, well I have often thought about this question myself. Tampons are probably the 'cleanest' option, and defiantly more discreet. But Pads are safer (reduces the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome) and keeps the blood outside the body reducing other bacteria from forming. So I guess its a question f personal preference. To be SAFE I would go with the pad, but because i wear tight pants etc tampons suit me. As long as you change your tampon every three hours or less you shouldn't have an issue. Some people think its unhygienic keeping blood that the body has meant to be discarded inside the body by way of tampon. Hope this helps!

the question is "what is good for YOU" try both and find out :)

Just remember, never leave a tampon in for more than 8 hours and remove it straight away if you think you may have toxic shock syndrome. Never forget you have a tampon in or insert one when you are not on your period. You might want to consider alternating between pad and tampon, or only using tampons when you're going swimming or clubbing or wearing skimpy outfits...

good luck :)

i think of they'd use the two. Use tampons while donning tight geared up clothing, thongs, and bathing suits. placed on pads while donning easy colored clothing, clothing, and skirts. Use your good judgement while choosing what to placed on with what. yet while they do no longer choose for to placed on the two, than pads are a actual good thank you to bypass, considering you're no longer in threat for that poisonous marvel syndrome as you would be donning tampons (even although its a low possibilitiy). Plus it somewhat is going to enable each thing bypass out freely instead of clogging it up. i spotted while i exploit tampons and my era is meant to be over, there will be one greater day or 2 of minimum recognizing from what the tampon has clogged interior. Plus in the event that they're heavy in this time, pads will take up each thing lots greater useful. yet another piece of suggestion is, in the experience that your friends are nervous with reference to the entire virginity ingredient and utilizing tampons, tell them for you to use tampons wether you're a virgin or no longer. It won't take their virginity away.

Tampon- you can sleep in the nude while on your period. I feel so much better (no cramps) while wearing them then wearing a pad. Plus, others can smell your blood if you wear a pad.

Definitely a pad. Use a tampon and you risk toxic shock syndrome.

It's just a personal preference. As long as tampons are changed every few hours they are safe.
