I think this guy has a bit of an axe to grind judging by his other questions but here goes....

I think killing him makes him a martyr which makes him a bigger problem. Life in jail means he may actually begin to realise the evil he has perpetrated - hanging him means its all over for him.

Also I have doubts over his mental health right now. I'm not sure but he appears to have gone completely off his rocker in which case hanging is not right. I say life imprisonment.

I'm not saying he isn't an evil SOB but I think it is a move we need to consider carefully.

And if we do hang him, Robert Mugabe can go next!

I disagree!!! People sentence killers to the death penalty to show it`s wrong to kill!!! This always has amazed me cause I find no sense in it...
Besides, for the iraquian people he will be a martyr and then... who knows what will happen!!! Even more, the trial was a sham - everyone knew he was going to be sentenced to death...
And what about all the other crimes he comitted`? He won`t be judged for them...

The devil will be turned into a "hero" in the minds of many people who have grudges with USA administration and its allies. Hence, more troubles, I am sorry to say, of more little or big saddams!!!

"no justice, no peace." Why not hang all those American criminals that have received a fair trial first. He should wait in line like the rest of them. They changed the trial judge do ensure he is declared guilty!!!! He is a bastard but damn that was his country and perfectly legal within the laws he created. Crimes against humanity should be tried in international court not some corrupt backwater sectarian government court. If we had their form of justice here in the US i would be afraid to go outside.

i didn't think it would happen esp when i saw how he was making a farce out of the court system but i have to say I'm glad even though he will be getting out of the pain that he put other people through it just shows that the court system works thankfully

I hope you don't support him or his evil ways.I think it is good for all the good people in Iraq. They will be able to sleep better at night knowing he is never ever coming back to hurt them or their babies. In your other question you mention 9/11 and what did it have to do with war being in Iraq. You worry me a bit.I hope your don't feel sympathy for him
