I have met loads of famous people, when I appeared on television in 1996 Sarah Greene made me a cup of coffee and Paul Ross waved his bare feet at me saying look at these we will be talking about feet later in the show, I just laughed and quickly walked away. I met Nigel Lawson at London Euston waiting to board a train, he was in the same carriage, he smiled and said hello to be polite. I saw Blair and a few other politicians over the other platform just before he became Prime Minister.

I met Jasper Carrott when I was shopping in Birmingham several years ago.
My most recent celebrity spot was 26th October this year when I was invited to London, the house of commons to be presented with a cheque and while I was waiting for security clearance my friend said look it Karen from Strictly come dancing and she came over to us and said hello, I didn't know her from Adam but I said hello back.
Not only that when we got into the presentation several M.P's were there and sporting personalities, Alex Stewart was one I remember and there was a very nice Lee someone who was a sport star who had raised money for Childhood Leukaemia, which he had suffered from, it was a fantastic evening and I shall look back on my life when I am older and know that two politicians wanted to take me out to dinner and a club afterwards, to which I declined both invitations.

I've had a conversation with Bob Geldof in Faversham train station. I wish this had happened after I'd done my Masters degree (Development Studies).
Clive James was in the Oxfam shop in Cambridge and he held the door for me as I left, which goes to show that some famous people are polite.

I used to work in Casinos and met loads of celebrities. I met Freddy Starr just after he had cut his first record, he wanted to hear it!!! We had no record player in the casino he asked me if he could come to my house to play it and he would give me the record after!!! And I refused I was scared of my husband!!!! Ooooh I have regretted ever since it would probably be worth a fortune now to a collector!!!!

I was also in The Cruel Sea and met Jack Hawkins. He was such a gentleman, and yes I do have a story to tell about him but it would take to long for me type with 2 fingers!!!!!

I met the Fantasy Artist Peter Pracownik in his shop in Cornwall. We got chatting about art and music etc. He is a REALLY nice bloke. He signed one of his greetings card for me.
I met the actor John Shrapnel when a relative of his was in the hospital I work at. He was also VERY nice. We chatted about his latest project, which at that time was the movie Gladiator.
I have also met Suzanne Vega and chatted to her. This was at a concert of hers and she dedicated one of the tracks that night to me.
