A decent set of 4 tires for a SUV, mounted and balance should run $400 and upwards. Good tires should be had for around $120 a tire by a reputable tire shop. Depending on the size, tread type and manufacturer.

SUV's are normally top heavy and create lots of pressure on a tire's sidewalls. Also the heavier weight causes a need for a heavy duty tire over what a passenger car needs.

How much is your safety, your truck and your passengers worth to you?
Don't skimp by buying off brand cheap-o tires.

depends on what you want and need. For an SUV get a good all terrain tire and you shouldn't have to pay more than $120 per tire. Make sure those prices include valve stems, mounting and balancing!!

Just a thought - go to a couple of local tire stores and get quotes. That is the only way to get an accurate answer - you certainly won't get one here.
