If she is refusing food and liquids, you need to see a doctor as an emergency. You should not be asking us these questions, you should seek a doctors appoinment today, as children can become very ill if theydo not take on liquids. You need to seek medicul advice now.

Go see your doctor. Babies and young children are very resillient when it comes to not eating much. As long as they take their fluids, they will be ok untill they start eating again. If she is not taking much fluids now , she will be in danger of getting dehydrated, and that is when problems get worse. My daughter has just gotten over a chest infection, and just like yours she stopped eating and drinking. We had to change the antibiotics twice before they took effect. See your doctor as soon as you can. good luck.

see a doctor. In the meantime, this is a long tried and tested drink that children will take and it is full of vitamins. Get hold of some barley (supermarkets always stock it, sometimes called pearl barley). Put a handful in cold water, bring to the boil and simmer for several hours. The water will slowly turn a pinkish colour. Cool and strain. Now feed your child the barley water - she will take it and, most importantly, be able to keep it down. Babies of any age can take this. This recipe is hundreds of years old and really does work.
Good luck.

I would take her to the ER. With her not drinking any fluids she will become severly dehydrated and that is when these things can get very dangerous. This isn't a take her to the ER after you get sleep kind of deal, you need to just go now. That chest infection could have turned into pneumonia or RSV.

i wouldn't worry about the food bit, toddlers can go ages without eating properly as long as they are getting fluids. If she has stopped drinking, i would take her to the doctors.
