If you think I'm going to click on that link, knowing what you say it is about, you're crazier than I am! The fact is, anything that's free is probably worth no more than you pay for it. Sturgeon's Law, some variation or other.

Philosophy is a catch-all term to some people, but the more precise term would probably be propaganda. That is, a very sneaky, designed by market psychologists and such underhanded types, attempt to persuade you to a particular point of view.

Chances are, if the propaganda does not turn out to be specific to one political party, then it is directed toward a religious organization of some sort. One theory would be Scientology.

But as I say, I'm not crazy enough to open such links. And I'm not that adept at Defense Against the Dark Arts. If you are, open a post office box and have them mail you a copy. Wear gloves while you read it. I'm not kidding.

Defense Against the Dark Arts is at least as deadly a proposition in the "real" world as it is in Harry Potter's world.

Of course they are! When philosophy is etymologically 'love of wisdom' then it is, for wisdom is to be receive as a gift, and it must be given for free. Absolutely no coins involve. Since it deals about that books, well, no Philosophy books are bad. Every book of its kind is precious.
