Right now we have a variety of people who are thinking about running but I do not believe we have anyone who will be right for everyone. McCain is soft on many things and is Okay on the war, Giuliani is conservative on many issues but is not pro-life and is for gay marriage. I hope we can find someone who is truly conservative and is willing to stand up and say he is conservative. Our candidate should believe in a small central government, lower taxes and much lower federal spending. I would hope for someone who is pro-life and against gay marriage but I believe we need the conservative attitude about money more than the social issues right now. The federal government has taken on way to many issues that need to be decided by the states. When it comes to national politics we need someone who will appeal not only to us as conservatives but to the other side as well. We need to work on not alienating democrats. I believe that is why we lost both houses because people could not find any common ground with republicans. We were not conservative enough financially. We have come to look more like the tax and spend democrats than like the lower taxes and don't spend republicans. This needs to change.

No one on the horizon yet for this. McCain talks a pro-life agenda but I think he is not firm on this. On the war, he may be more to your liking.
The problem is a fiery pro-life candidate would alienate a passel of voters. Even Bush, while talking a pro-life stance to approving audiences, hasn't done a whole lot.
Maybe someone will emerge but electable? Another maybe.

Try Jepp Bush, George Walker Bush's brother and current Governor of Florida and whom George Walker has even already endorsed as "making a fine president". The Bush dynasty is on, you know!

I think Newt Gingrich is talking about running. I don't know if that has become official or not. I just read that Tancredo is running, but it was the first I heard of it, and I am not sure if it is so. I also don't really know where he stands on those issues, I am just assuming.

I don't believe that there is. How can anyone be pro-life and want to continue with all the death and destruction that is happening in Iraq?

What's a conservative?
Once you've figured out what that is, then you might be ready for the ballot box.

Look for Rudy Guiliani to run. That would be your man.

Unfortunately, the answer is NO; unless, of course, Gore decides to run again.
