I would like advice on which would suit an 8 yr old a Nintendo DS or Gameboy Advance for ease of use, and what games?

Nintendo DS Lite (easier on the arm and wrists). The choice of games depends on the 8 year old. However, games that I can recommend include nintendogs (if the 8 year old likes dogs), Sonic advanced (not sonic rush, unless the 8 year old is a wizard at computer games), pokemon link, mario kart/super mario and tetris DS.

sure you could play GBA video games on it, yet no longer older ones like GBC or GB video games. And the drawing close Nintendo DSi can't be released in usa till Fall of 09, so which you nevertheless have a on an identical time as to get conventional DS or DS Lite.

Go with the ds. It is way better and you can play gameboy advance games on it. best of both worlds but better. plus you can play the same game with someone else who has DS and there are no cords. it is all electronic. new mario game is the best. PLEASE BUY THE DS

My daughter has a DS...fantastic and you can play gameboy advance games on them anyway. She has animal crossing,cooking mama is good and the dogz game though you can get loads of ebay.We have a shop near us that you can trade in yours and buy second hand games.Then if he doesnt like it then you havnt lost nothing

i would get a ds my sister recently got one and they are so cool!
She is 10 and she loves it to bits. You could buy the game nintendogs because that game suits nearly everyone.
