Earth: Final Conflict was a syndicated TV show that aired in 1997, with Kevin Kilner as the lead character William Boone. The producers decided to kill off his character after the first season and brought on Robert Leeshock as Liam Kincaid to replace him. The show was a lame duck after that.

Me, me, me, me! It was the first (or second, if Andromeda came out first) non-Star Trek show from Gene Roddenberry, but done after he had died. I liked the show, and even though Boone was kind of a monotone, low key character, I still liked him. I liked how they brought him back, too, possibly to get ratings back, but they still brought him back, anyway.
I've looked for it on DVD but haven't found it yet. I'll keep looking, though.
