I studied in Russia for 6 years medicine due to several reason didn't complete my studies there came to India in 2004 and i'm working in India since I left Russia. Now I'm seriously planning to study nursing as my undergraduation in Finland, would this gap of 8 years from my higher secondary education be a hinderence to persue my UG in Finland?

I don't see how it could hinder you in starting your studies. A lot of people take a few years off after graduating from high school. Or they work in one field for a while, and start education in other.

Here are some links to Finnish schools.

Check out

Stadia is the one of the biggest schools in Finland (it's located in Helsinki).

Of course there are lot of other schools as well like
