u have better opportunities in hotel business. since u have three year diploma course and having experience u can better shine in hotel management since the scope for travel and tourism is booming. in that scenerio, hotel management students are having bright opportunities. still then if u want in retail business u can try but so many institutes are offering mba retail management. and companies like reliance, west end of tata birla, bharati, rpg and other groups are entering in retail business in the forms of supermarkets, hypermarkets, malls etc., but u will get entry level and i feel u can have better opportunities in hotel business. all the best.
