I can only answer for myself. Unfortunately it has turned into another police action. We haven't fought a war with our main objective being a clear cut victory and total demoralization of our enemies since World War II. We have fallen into the same trap that we fell into in the Korean War and the War in Vietnam. If you are going to wage war you wage it with intention of destroying your enemies and the countries that harbor your enemies (in this case terrorists, the countries that give them safe harbor and financial backing) we haven't done that. If that wasn't our intention from the start and in hindsight I think you will agree that it wasn't, then waging war is a waste of our countries valuable resources and manpower.

Well, I live in a military town. The majority of the military families I know are pissed and against the war especially with facts out there like the downing street memo. They feel this administration has done more to hide facts than to tell the truth. They hear from friends that are in Iraq or have relatives in Iraq and the insights they receive are not being reported in the media.

Most of us Americans are now against the War in Iraq. The problem is that when that dictator Bush decided to go into Iraq, the majority of us Americans supported him because Americans are slow and stupid, so they fell for Bush's lies that Iraq was involved in 9/11 and had WMD's. Of course now there is no evidence that Iraq ever had ties with al-Qaeda and no WMD's have been found. Therefore, most Americans have came to their senses and have stopped supporting this evil war.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice deserve to burn in hell.

The majority? I think the majority now believe the war was started under false premise and that its going badly but that we need to fix it some way some how.

The majority of the ones I know think it was a stupid thing to start, and a total waste of time, money and innocent lies. Unfortunately, these aren't the people who make the decisions about it, nor the ones that are profiting from it.

My guess is a wasteful war. An unnecessary one in fact. My advise to the American don't mix religion with politic when making pertinent decision. Maybe Bush in his small heart mix some in the process, so what he didthis is what he gets.

I think the polls point to the majority of Americans don't like the handling of the war... whatever that means at this point! Does that mean they think it shouldn't have happened? does that mean they don't think we are aggressive enough? does that mean they think we are too aggressive? I never have seen that published....

No one that I know is in favor of it. I believe that we were in the very beginning. Bush has turned our war into his war, for profit, and that is wrong no matter how you look at it.

Here it is, most of America wants to bring the soldiers home, but they do not want to cut and run. If they cut and run then they lose and they do not want to lose, so they want to win which means they have to stay so we can win so they can come home?
