I used to be big into trouser suits. When I decided my legs weren't that bad and invested in some great work heels I went the skirt suit route. Nowadays I am very much into the little knee-length corporate dresses.

Guys, which look sexier on women? And women, which do you prefer to wear?
I am slim but curvy, slightly pear-shaped. My skirts are either pencil skirts or tulip-shaped (ie flare out a bit at the bottom) and never shorter than the knee. The dresses are either wrap dresses (black, white and one print) or fitted (think 50s curve hugging but not showing much flesh).

I just find blouse/skirt or blouse/trouser combo a bit boring, unless I wear a suit and take off the jacket.

Any other suggestions for corporate wear?

You should never try to look sexy at work. Having that sexy look at work makes you look unprofessional. I think, however that skirts or dresses are fine as long as they're not short or you're not showing any cleavage. Some companies still frown upon women wearing trousers (usually the old fashioned ones like accountants and lawyers offices). I think a nice skirt suit with a white or coloured blouse underneath, tights and some heels (not too high) are fine.

Corporate wear looks fantastic on ladies, I like the trouser look with stilettos and a cropped jacket or vest. Pear shaped is well catered for and shows your femininity but business like appearance. Skirts are cool too but I prefer just above the knee, or a longer skirt with a split.

I myself prefer the trouser suits.... I'm 23.... I like my pin stripe suits..... but I also like to wear my plain black knee length fitted 3/4 sleeve dress.... but a sure way to look corporate is heels..... you gotta add them especially if you're wearing skirts... as flats are definitely a no no in the corporate world and also they make your legs like slimmer and longer.

Being a guy i prefer professional ladies who are dressed in skirts preferably pencil skirt. It should not be shorter than your knee otherwise it looks a bit tarty.. fitted dresses looks quite nice but again it will take the professional looks away if its showing more than a but if your cleavage....

If you are pear shaped, skirts look better on you than trousers. Trousers suit very straight bodies and on other shapes can look slightly untidy. Unfair, but true.

Tabitha, you would look great at work no matter what you wore. I prefer skirts myself, knee length or just above. Pale tights and pretty court shoes. It shows a ladies feminity, but oozes confidence as well.

Personally myself, i so want to achieve this look that you have already got, however never be able to pull it off, as i often result in buying clothes that look far too young for my age and more casual style.

This look you already have is so sophicated and sexy. You can dress it up or down how you please, simply by adding accessories or taking them away.

A great place to get inspiration is next, as often their workwear is very nice and uncheap looking.
