why earn points by helping people,why do you give them,what are they worth

On the US site, they awarded gifts to certain point levels a few months ago. For Canadians, zippo, zilch, nada.
As you progress, with more points, it just means you can answer more and more questions.

are worth nothing
and will give you nothing

however

I'm pretty proud the points I've earned. Reminds me of when my kids come home with an ink stamp on their hand from school for being good.

personal satisfaction? I'm sorry they can't be traded for municipal bonds, Starbucks coffee or mall shopping credits...it's a free service and advice is worth what you pay for it. Remember that old axiom?
