Actually while I do not know on a personal basis very many muslims I have herd two since 911 speak out. The first was on 9/12 I was in Wellington New Zealand at the time, and was in shock by the attacks, I hailed a cab, because I was getting lost trying to find teh embassy, and felt I had to do something, I had bpught a red rose and was going to place it at the gate, and the taxi driver was an Iranian refugee, when he heard my accent and I saw his name was Arabic, he said I am deeply sorry for your country's loss, please know that true Isalm isn't about violence, and that those wh attacked your country aren't true Muslims. He would not accept cab fare either. The next time was on Rosebud reservation in 03 , some leaders from the Nation of Islam were there at a friend of mine was hosting a seminar on native ways, I was prepaired for major bs, but was suprized when they condemed the tactics of terroism. Out side of that, never.

In the UK a day or so after the Londen Bombings a number of Muslim leaders did, in conjunction with other religious leaders. The papers said the Muslim and general religious community had been prepared to do just that thing, to show solidarity against terrorists.
I think it's a great idea.

The last world leader to do so was King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. A few weeks before Christmas, he condemned terrorism as not being a part of the Islamic faith and Koran. His government has reason to loathe Bin Laden. There have been a number of terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia organized by Al Qaeda.
That's the most recent example. The leaders of Egypt, Pakistan, Jordan, Indonesia have all spoken out against terrorism and terrorist acts. Most of their governments have been threatened by Islamic fundamentalists so they have good cause to be worried.

I have heard a lot of Muslims speak against terrorism. I feel that those who are terrorists, are the "extremists" who are Muslim, and other cultures, and they have a twisted belief that what they're doing is right. They feel that if they commit these kinds of crimes against their so-called 'enemy', their God will be waiting for them 'on the other side', with open arms.
But if you study the Muslim culture, it's not what their belief condones. It's complicated, but you should know that a lot of Muslims don't like the terrorism just as much as the citizens, anywhere else in the world. It's the Extremists who are carrying out these actions.

First of all, why must Hitler always enter the scene? Hitler was NOT a Christian. He was raised in a Catholic household, but he shunned religion and only maintained the pretense of it to placate the largely Catholic population of Austria. So, that argument gets chucked right out the window.
I have seen one muslim speak out against terrorist & the current state that Iran is in. He was invited to leave his mosk & never come back.
College students in Iran protest almost daily. Here's hoping there is a coup in the works.

If Muslims would control the extremist elements among them then they would not have the problems they now have. We have nut Job extremists in the USA but we control them. The Unabomber is in jail, Timothy McVeigh is dead, Eric Rudolph was hunted down, captured and given life in prison, the wackos of Waco are dead. As of today not one terrorist has been hunted down by any Muslim group.

Should Muslims put the blame to all Christians for the brutal actions of Bush which provided Ammunition to Israeli government to kill over a thousand Lebanese women and children, for the crimes of Hitler, or many others?

The strange answer (or not so strange depending on your point of view) is millions - there were candlelight vigils held all over Iran for the victims of the 9/11 attacks.

plenty, why do you think Fatah and Hamas are fighting?
the problem is, the people who are speaking up against it, are either powerless, or reside on the safer sides of the oceans from the terrorists.
