Cigarette tobacco is worse, its processed and sprayed with chemicals. Pipe tobacco is natural and not sprayed with chemicals to keep it lit. Thats why most pipe smokers keep re-lighting all the time. Plus pipe smokers do not inhale.

Historically, Pipe smokers do not frequently get lung cancer.

Is this because of the tobacco?? No, it isn't...

It's simply because these people don't inhale the smoke.

Pipe smokers (and cigar smokers) differ from cigarette smokers in that they do smoke for the taste, and not the nicotine. Although, ultimately, they do become nicotine addicted to some degree.

It is common, however for pipe smokers to get cancerous gum and lip sores, but these are (usually) minor compared to lung cancer.

Cigarette, because there are way more toxins in cigarettes. Pipe tobacco is more natural, less toxins, plus you are not supposed to inhale pipe tobacco!!

You would have to decide. Either way, you get cancer and the other side effects.
With cigarettes, you are most apt to get lung cancer.
With a pipe, your cancer is most likely of the lip and tongue.
