I wear mine about once a month coupled only with knee-length skirt and a conservative blouse. They are real leather with a stiletto heel, but the heel isn't huge.

Thanks everyone, am getting great tips here. I have basically decided that the boots are fine except for the heel so am going to invest in another pair without a stiletto heel.
I just have to say this: Aural... Honey, first-up I would not be working for you. Ever. If anything you would be working for me (God forbid). Based on your negative, chauvanistic and Victorian response (sweetheart, ye olde "if she wears provocative clothing she should expect to be raped" mantra was de rigeur like, back in the Jurassic period). You do not (and couldn't hope to) work in the same industry as me.
Oh and another thing; yes, women often wear sexually provocative clothing in order to be sexy (as do men)- in fact I will go so far as to admit that this is usually the case for both sexes- but we do so mostly to make ourselves feel good/confident/vibrant. It isn't always for you men. Really. Especially not dinosaurs like you (who tend to perve the most and use their ranting to disguise the fact)

I think you matched the boots with the right outfit so I don't think it's trashy at all. If I was wearing them to work I would always wear them with the knee length skirt and a conservative blouse like you did. As long as the heel is short then I don't see where the problem is. I'm sure you looked great in the whole outfit.

It sounds fine, I wear a similar style to work in a quite conservative company. So long as the boots are plain and have a simple heel, then you will get away with it. Make sure they are not too high (more than 3 inches is prob too much). A woman once came in with a real sexy laced pair (which I would have liked to wear socially) and was sent home!

I think this is a great look. I wear my boots to work a couple of times a month with a skirt or under trousers. On Fridays we have a dress down day and a few weeks ago I wore my knee length boots over some snug fitting jeans. Got wonderful feedback from guys and girls and felt super sexy all day! I think boots with your skirt and top sound stylish, businesslike yet young and empowered. Go for it grrl!

It comes down to the other styles of the boot. Lots of buckles or laces or a patent leather is trashy or some strange color, but something simple with very little extra adornment is very smart sexy.
Even Condolezza Rice wears knee-length skirts and knee-high boots and she's pretty conservative :)

I think it looks fine, but sometimes it depends enitrely on your personality, if your quite flirty it may come across as being slightly slutty. And as your wearing quite a decent top, nothing showing cleavage etc then i wouldn't worry about it, wear what you want to!
Your always going to be women slagging you off though.
and if the men you work with are anything like the ones i work with, they tend to spend their time trying to get a look down the top of a women wearing a v-neck jumper, not the girl barely showing an inch of her leg!
Be confident and dont worry abut other peoples opinions if it were me id give them the 'yes i know i have fabulous legs, why the hell do you think im wearing these damn sexy boots' look!!!

I think that sounds fine especially as you wear a conservative blouse and knee length skirt. How can that be trashy unless they were over the knee and teamed up with hotpants and a whip?!!!I You would have to be seriously prudish or have a one track mind to say you look trashy!!! ( any negative comments from ladies would indicate jealousy)

I think that is a lovely combination. My only concern would be the heel. Also, unless they are very pointy I think it is smart sexy. I also think they would be lovely with those cropped pants that are in style now. Another thing to consider when wearing a suit, I would stay away from the boots, pumps are more appropriate but the boots can take you from a sweater set to a nice jacket.

Very very sexy to wear long boots to work.
Why not try teaming them up with a knee length skirt as you mentioned and some fashion tights. Men do like the kinky boots thing remember.

It depends on how cheap/expensive they look. I myself have some suede ones... between 3/4 length and knee length which I will only wear to work with a knee length dress... conservative stuff.
