There are more methods..The following is the best & safe method to avoid pregnancy:-
First, one should know the duration of the cycle, i.e. first day of the last menstrual bleeding to the first day of the present menstrual bleeding. This is the duration of the menstrual cycle.
This duration varies from person to person & is usually between 26 to 31 days.
Ovulation approximately occurs in the middle of the cycle, i.e. duration of the cycle - (minus) 14 days (this also varies).
A week before and a week after the approximate day of ovulation is considered to be Fertile period.
The days apart from this is called the safe periods, where the fertilization does not takes place.
So, to calculate the safe period you must know the fertile period.

Don't have sex is the obvious answer.
Otherwise, the only way to pretty much guarantee you won't get pregnant is for the girl to be on the pill, the guy to wear a condom, AND don't have sex on the 12th - 14th days of the girl's cycle (if she on a 28 day cycle--otherwise, count the number of days from start of one period to the start of the next period, divide by 2 and don't have sex that day or the two days before.)

Dont have sex is the simple answer everyone is saying but sometimes it cant be avoided with the presures today, if you have to have sex, use a condem even birth control if your really worried, use both.

Abstinence is best......Condom or birth control are very effective against pregnancy. Make apt for doctor or planned parenthood for information on other methods that are right and safe for you and your partner.

the only fool proof way of not getting pregnant is not to have sex. I know people who got pregnant on birth control.
