I know that Francis Lai composed the score but I cannot find the name of the orchestra or conductor.

The album has 'various artists' credited but most of the tracks are played by 'Francis Lai and his orchestra' which indicates that they are a session orchestra brought together by Lai to perform his work. Therefore it is unlikely thye will be found performing together on other soundtracks.

Gee, I don't know. I checked the Internet Movie Data Base( http:// imdb.com ) but can't find anything other than Francis Lai himself. It gives no mention of an orchestra. But I'll search around and get back to you.

Sorry I can't help you in time. Only seven hours left to answer as I write. However, I do have the original soundtrack on both audio tape and record, along with production details, as I had my own recording studio back in the seventies.

Unfortunately, I would need to go through 37 years of tapes and files to find it. My organisational skills are not very good.

However, if I come across it, I will try and let you know through this site.
