Not everyone gets all of the different cervical mucus types...but that doesn't necessarily mean you don't ovulate...do you get the other kinds of fertile mucus, like the one that is like creamy lotion? That is the next most fertile, i think....and I don't know that I'd consider the EWCM stringy...it is more like egg white: clear, slippery, wet, stretchy...the more stringy one is what you may get earlier in your cycle. It is a dryer CM and doesn't stretch very well.

Look on http://www.fertilityfriend.com and sign up for the online course. you will get emails every day and the first several are all about your cervical mucus, what to expect, how to chart, what they look like, when you might get them, etc. It's very informative!

No, of course not. Everyone is different, so don't stress. Try an over-the-counter ovulation predictor test. From there you can talk to your OBGYN. He/she can do a blood test on a particular day of your cycle and get some answers for you. Good luck!
