My boyfriend took my car without my permission. He waited until I was in the shower went in my purse and took the keys and announced he was leaving and would be back in an hour. I said no b/c he has a bad habit of using my car and not returning at the agreed upon times. I said no b/c I had a prior engagement to go to and his late arrivals always make me or my children late to our engagements . The b/f proceeded to argue when I threatened that I should have called police, it ended with him slamming a door in my face hitting me in the elbow. I told him to get out of my house. Now he is apologizing! What would you do or have done?.

I would not let him back in until he has respect for you! Talk to him about it and let him know that it is not okay for him to do this crap to you. If you do not stop it now, it will only get worse. Plus you should tell him that if he wants to go some where then he needs to buy his own car and use that. Good Luck!!

First off if I said no. And he took the car anyways, I would of called the police. No man is ever more important than my son. He would be gone like the moon when the sun comes up. Tell him to save his apologies for a woman that will believe him.

Had one that did it once, he left with my car while I was asleep but once is all it took. I woke up found him and my car missing. I called the police. Told them he stole my car. He came back about 4 hours later. I told him I am tired of pickin' up and puttin' out I'm a leaving him lock stock and house. And that is what I did. He was arrested for taking my car without permission.

he sounds very disrespectful.... one should never go through as women's purse unless asked to, nor a man's wallet. I would get rid of the bf before its too late...he sounds like loser to me.

Sounds like he does not care about your wishes,,,,, if he always takes your car and does not return as agreed upon he is being selfish and I wonder why he does not have a car of his own??? maybe he is nit dependable enough?

Lose him fast

I usually try to side with a man cause i'm a man but he's disrespectfull don't put up with too much for too long. You calling the police is kinda stupid though I mean he's your man. You know what disrepect is don't put up with crap unless your no perfect angel yourself.

This is a on-going problem.

Disrespect more than once: Let him go. He is your boyfriend now, think about if he was your husband.

Remember we are a role model for our children (they see and hear)

Let him know that your car is not for his personal use, next time hide your keys. If you can't find them than he already knows it is because you don't want him to have them.
