ok well if Langer gets booted then they simply MUST bring back Phil Jauqes, he's a decent batsman and should be allowed to proove his worthiness...makes sense

Justin Langer has performed the least but there's no need of dropping him as he's recovered from a head injury which he suffered in S.Africa. It's not long that he gets back to form. One believes that after winning four matches in a row, there's no need of changing the squad as the team's been performing great guns and everybody's rooting for a clean sweep. Justin Langer does well by seeing off the first few overs.

I totally agree with "laura's man's" comment. That is exactly what I would like to happen. Langer has had his go and it's time to give Phil Jaques a go who has proved himself in state cricket over and over again. If it was up to me I would drop Hayden while I was at it (yes he may of made 150 but it took him about 400 balls). Bring Simon Katich in for him. Normally in the past they had rested Brett Lee from the SCG tests but I have no problems if they keep him in the team because I dont mind him. Shane Warne and McGrath are the best ever and I wish them the best in the last test in Sydney. We all know Warney loves the SCG pitch because its good for spin-kings. I would even drop Brett Lee come to think about it and put in a second spinner called Cullinan from (South Australia) in my opinion he is the next best spinner coming through (much better than Cameron White from Victoria)

I strongly feel that they will retain the same team for the last test. Dont forget that Langer and Hyden have been best opening pair for Australia for many years and as such irrespective of the poor form of Langer, they will not drop him for the next test.

No way, they wouldn't drop half of the most succesful Aussie opening pair ever!! I think they will keep the same lineup, they may play 2 spinners but, I don't see anyone being dropped. Mcgrath would be the obvious choice, to be rested, but it's his last test on the SCG, so the team will stay the same.
No one is even prepared to come into the side, Macgill would play, but it's Warney's last match and they wouldn't want anyone to steal his thunder (and wickets). Symonds is safe because of his 150 and Hussey, Ponting, Clarke and Clark are all in to good form to be dropped.

I too think Cosgrove should be given a chance ahead of Langer. I also think it is better to give Mitchell Jhonson a game in place of Brett Lee or Clark just to give the youngster a game.

Why get rid of anyone? If someone must go then perhaps it could be Gilchrist as he seems to have lost his edge in keeping just recently and since the arrival of Flintoff, Gilly has lost his spark in batting also. Maybe a rest for him is required. But for the time being, I wouldn't change anything. Aussie Aussie Aussie!!!!!
