Men are more likely 2 be dominant because of the role of being the head in the family,in addition 2 being robust and sturdy by nature in comparison 2 the female. In any case, this does not give the man the license 2 abuse his strength, especially over a woman. it is wrong, indeed a sin for a man to hit or even speak abusively of his wife.he is to love his wife as his own body, 2 assign honour to his wife and give her respect, for she make sthe marriage a unit.
In your situation, it may be easier said than done, to alter the attitude of ur husband. but little things can make a gradual change in his character.
continue 2 remain calm whenever there is a dispute, he is the head, so u must be in subjetion 2 him, as God has arranged. when he is calm, use that opportunity to talk things over. tell him how u feel about being treated in that way,but do so with discretion. be polite and respectful. ur good intentions 2 maintain a good relationship with him, can make a good impression on him, u may see changes.
this is not a guarantee. there may be no changes at all. if it does continue seek help from family members of both sides.
The Bible though gives the best practical advice on all subjects including marriage.
here are some scriptures. try and read them. u may be shocked out of what u can learn.
colossians 3:19; gen 2:18,23,24;21:9-12; matt 19:4,5,6,9 ; ephesians 5:1,23-29,33; 1 pet 3:1,2,4,7; prov 5:18; 31:10,28 1 cor 7:3-5,10 ; 11:3; titus 2:4,5.

Call the police. they will solve the issue. Otherwise take it into your own hands. If anyone hits you physically just over a conversation, prepare yourself for the worst. I would carry mase or pepper spray and get him back for hitting you in the first place.
I'm a guy, but i know well enough that if your wrong in a conversation hitting doesn't help anyone. Lets say he was right to begin with and you were argueing over his opinion. Some poeple do raise their voices and what not. But to physically slap, hit, kick or throw someone against another object is enough for me to tell you that you should protect yourself anyway neccessary, other than guns. I dont think gins are the answer to any problem(almost any). I think your best answer is to call the police next time, or consider breaking up or even a divorce.

Clearly, you're choosing to hook up with the wrong men. There are plenty of men who would never even dream of hitting a woman. You're finding the wrong men in the wrong places.

Men resolve to hitting a women, when they think they can get away with it.
The only solution there is to change this, is to leave them. And to stop them doing it to others is to take it to the police.

They're not supposed to, and most DON'T. Get out NOW> Call the police. Get a restraining order. Get as far away from him as possible. Don't you deserve to be treated better than a dog?

My ex (notice the ex part) husband was that same way. Nothing was ever good enough for him. My success in anything would anger him greatly and he actually broke my ankle intentionally once for having success at work. Ditch him, honey, he's toxic to your spirit.

These people are called cowards. And stay away from them once he has touched you, because people like them will never change. NOT even WITH a BEATING!

Leave him!!! That's what I did and I never looked back. You'll find a whole world out there where you're free to say what you like without flinching, dress as you like, and generally be yourself. It's an amazing, liberating feeling. Please leave him - it's the best thing for you.
