the raiders have a decent running back in lamont jordan what they need is a quarterback and i believe they should take brady quinn of nd as there pick because in starting a great team you need a quarterback and there isnt a better quarterback in the draft than quinn.

Some might say troy smith but i believe he is to small for a quarterback and probably will go later in the first round.

No. They should draft Calvin Johnson, WR from Georgia Tech.
It wasn't long ago that wide receiver was the deepest position on the Oakland roster but Doug Gabriel is gone, Jerry Porter clearly has one foot out the door and I wouldn't put any money on Randy Moss being around much longer either. The o-line is a major concern for the Raiders and they could probably use a top quarterback as well but in the end they simply opt for the best player available in Johnson. Calvin Johnson is really the total package, with a blend of size, speed, hands and body control that you rarely, if ever, see and he is the definition of an elite prospect. He is simply the best wideout prospect in years and perhaps the best player in this draft

The glasses you notice on Al Davis are not glasses in any respect they are blinders. Raiders mandatory each and every thing from a QB, RB, and WR to O and D linemen. Peterson broke his collarbone his senior 365 days at Oklahoma the 365 days in the past and scared some communities faraway from him. Now who's to assert that he might have had the fulfillment he has with MN on the grounds that O line Adrian runs in the back of.

The raiders need a QB. Troy Smith or Brady Quinn. Personally, I would take Troy Smith. They also need to get a new coach, get rid of moss, and hope lamont jordan stays healthy. He is a good rb, he just had a terrible injury plagued year.

They need QB or O-line, but most likely they will take a QB

and the guy above me must not follow football close enough because Gabrial was released by the Pats and the Raiders got him back with waivers

Peterson would be a good pickup, but they definitely need a quaterback.

So their first pick should be Troy Smith or Brady Quinn

I hope not, he deserves to be on a good team. I would hate to see his talent wasted on the Raiders.

No, i would hate to see his career ruined. You all need to shoot al davis and then draft a entirely new offense.
