are they sure you weren't carrying twins? I lost one twin at almost exactly the time you've stated (around the 5- 5 1/2 week mark), but since there was another baby, my levels obviously would've continued to rise! Perhaps they were only looking for one baby? I think I'd go back and see what's going on...perhaps ask for another scan and have them to make sure there isn't another one growing in there.

Good luck, honey...hope you're ok! Miscarriage is a hard thing to deal with. ((((((HUGS))))))

I had a miscariage in July at 7 weeks, if you are still bleeding the miscarriage is still going. You hcg levels are going up but not by much. When you are pregnant they increase very rapidly. Wait until your bleeding has completely stopped and have another blood test, if your hcg levels have not returned to normal you may need a D&C. Even though the scan says everything has gone, there can be a minute amount of material left and that could cause your hcg levels to not go back to normal. Good luck, miscarriages ae devastating but there is alot of information out there to help.

Sometimes it takes awhile for hCG levels to go back to zero, so it is possible to get a positive HPT from a miscarriage for a month or more after a loss. If hCG levels were followed back to zero, then a positive HPT should indicate a new pregnancy.

I had the exact same thing happen to me, my doctors were surprised, it can happen if you are still bleeding, it took me 2 months to stop bleeding completely and levels to go back to zero. My recent second miscarriage, I opted for the D &C, due to the agony of having blood tests every other day to check my levels. I wish you all the best.

you ought to nonetheless be pregnant if the tiers are increasing. you've been very early in being pregnant and thanks to this the ultrasound wasn't showing something. Bleeding in early being pregnant could be thoroughly favourite too. as quickly as you have this next set of blood artwork finished if the tiers have risen lower back i could call for an ultrasound to work out whats occurring, yet i think of if the tiers are increasing there's a good possibility you're nonetheless pregnant. I have been given pregnant and had a healthful being pregnant with small ovarian cysts. I doubt they'll impact your being pregnant or variations of having pregnant negatively.

possibly an incomplete miscarriage with the possibility of retained products of conception, a bit of the placenta still there. They will be checking, also there is always the slim possibility that it was a twin pregnancy, and only one foetus has miscarriaged.

You may have to wait until your next period, which could be 4-6 weeks before your hormone levels decrease.
