My friend says they might fight and not too.

no, they will most likely fight.I have read that dwarf hamsters will not fight.
But, i have dwarf hamsters myself and i broke one of the cages not too long ago so I tried putting one in with the other until i could get to the pet store and replace the broken cage.......lol bad idea.......they ate each other up.One of them destroyed the other one's.....ummm......gonads.
So, i wouldn't suggest it.
If you got them from the same store and they were in the same cage at the pet store...you may be able to house them together for a little while but eventually they will fight.
Plus, females will usually kill the males.

Dwarf hampsters are smaller variations of TeddyBears - i've got had 7 Teddies at one factor and that they have got in no way smelled. As for the scaredy cat factor; you're hampster is purely not afraid in case you paintings with him religiously. And by using that i don't mean by using prayer, I mean which you may desire to make a factor out of taking 15 to twenty minutes with him daily. puppy him, refer to him, enable him out of his cage..and so on. Your animals will mirror the way you shelter them. good success!

Dwarf hamsters are the only kind of hamsters that can be put together, they aren't solitary, solitary hamster are Syrian Hamsters.
If they are both male they can be put together, however I would keep in a save part. First let them get to know eachother and slowly put them together. See what happens, if it goes bad get them out and put them each in a seperate cage. Good luck!

DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE SAME CAGE!! I have had over 32 hamsters and dwarf hamsters especially will fight!! They will eat each other if killing them isn't enough!!

If you put them in the same cage they will fight..........and you will have only one hamster left after the fight...........

r they both males or females
id jus put em in there for a lil while and see if they scrap it out
if not then youre good to go
