Ive put a new sim card in a phone i bought in the uk. Its got 2 options sos or unlock. If i choose unlock it asks me to enter the 'nck' to deactivate the network. Im not sure what nck is, is it network? But i think its a code as when i enter digits they are shown as *. Im scared to choose sos as it leads to emergency call.

most lock codes are the last 4 digits of your phone number, you can set a new code with any 4 digits you choose. I'm in Eugene, Oregon.
