Drive down the Florida Keys to Key West or even Marathon. It is a spectacular drive because the bridges are built right over the ocean, and at times all you can see to your right and left are miles and miles of water. The Keys is a great place to spend a couple of days. Also, be sure to visit the Everglades and take an airboat ride. That was the coolest thing I have done on any vacation, ever!

how much time are you spending in Miami or Orlando... there is tons to do in each city. However, if you want to spend 3/4 more days in a nearby area. Take a drive down to the most southern point in the US. Key West. Good time to get hotel rates and there is tons to do... great restaurants and a must see in the USA.

From Miami, you could drive to Key West or the keys in general.You could go to the Miami Zoo,Seaquarium, parrot jungle or many other places.You could spend a day in Ft.Lauderdale.From Orlando, you could visit Cape Canaveral,or go to tampa for the day. From Miami,you could fly to the Bahamas for 1-3 days.

Orlando, where you could go to Disney and Universal Studios and Busch Gardens and Sea World.

You could also go to Key West, Gainsville, Tampa, anywhere in Florida.

You could go to the keys if you like the beach and that stuff.
You could always go to tampa, around like 1 hour from Orlando.
