If i were you I'd keep the car and get used to manual transmission.
Auto maybe more easy to drive but manual is more fun and gives you the full control over your car ( acceleration wise).. I used to hate manual when i was messing around with my mom's corolla.. But later when we I got to drive a Toyota 4 runner with manual it was fun.. I wish the corolla had manual trans.. The acura Tl is a serious car.. I'm sure you'd love it when you get the hang of the stick.. And I'm sure you'd be sorry if you give it away or exchange it for a auto..

YA dude give it back... then go out and spend your own money on a car with an auto tranny... good god dude its not that hard to drive a stick, just takes some practice!!! i would definitely save your own money to put a new clutch in the free car, because learning will take a toll on that clutch, especially if its already worn... do me a favor, once you can get rolling off of a stop light, just peel out until you red line first gear!!!!

Being able to drive a manual transmission is a skill that everyone should have. (If you lived in Europe you'd basically have no choice in the matter.)
Its really not that hard to learn (I learned when I was 14 and I'm definitely no Einstein.)
Besides, what if you're being chased down an alley by an axe murderer and there is a running car that you can jump into but it ends up being a stick? You're not going to let yourself get axed over that, are you?

does the person that gave you the car know how to drive stick. If so let them teach you. My brother taught me and i only will own cars with manual transmission. I would recommend you practice in a empty parking lot first. Get the hang of the clutch and gas pedal. Once you get the hang of that then drive it in traffic. You can also practice in a driveway. reverse and first gear.

I would learn how to drive stick, it is not that hard. In most countries (besides the US) that is all they drive.
I would not return a gift. Besides, you never know when you'll need to drive stick. The more you learn the better. Good luck

For goodness sakes, are you incapable of learning to drive it? Driving a stick isn't all that complicated...it's quite simplex once you get the rhythm down. Try it before you give your car back!

No way, man! And you don't have to learn how to drive the stick either. Just get a driver to take you anywhere you want! Maybe the driver could be your girlfriend?? It can be fun, you know...

I got a shirt, gift voucher, chocolates and a book for Christmas. I wouldn't dream of giving them back. Learn to drive.
