Denver will be playing hard to wrap up a playoff spot, their strength is a lot of fast, hard-hitting talent in the box which means it could be a long day for Gore... (Not to mention with Antonio Bryant suspended for the niners Arnaz Battle becomes the only viable wide reciever and the passing game may struggle allowing Denver to press the run even harder).
Brown is coming off that nagging injury but looked pretty good going for over 100 yards against a pretty solid Jets D and we all know that the Colts are, well... not exactly solid. Brown is pretty much a go for sure (I mean hell, Ron Dayne went for a buck fifty and two against Indy)
Alexander may not play every snap against Tampa but with Seattle looking less than stellar and with only half a season under his belt, it seems like he will still see the bulk of the carries. The Bucs are giving up 120 yards a game on the ground and it seems to me that the Seahawks will score at least a few times in the game.... Alexander scored twice last week, it seems like they are in the process of re-realizing he is their bread and butter... He should find the end zone in a final regular season tuneup.
Final call- Ronnie Brown and Alexander

Brown is now upgraded on the injury report and it apears he's playing, so you have to go with him, the Colts are giving up 174 rush yards a game!!! Alexander is healthy and Tampa run D is nothing great. I would actually sit Gore as great a year as he has had, the Niners are playing for nothing and Denver has a pretty decent run defense.

You need to remember that the Seahawks are in the playoffs and have no chance to get a week off. They will be resting him this week. Gore is your better choice for the #2 RB.

i'm a niner fan, but still don't like gore this week. denver needs to win and will likely get an early lead, causing the niners to throw more....

I'd go with Shaun Alexander. He's a good running back.
