Im 8 weeks pregnant. Yesterday i noticed that when i wiped after going toilet their was a little blood on the tissue. Now i say blood but it looked more brown than red and their was only a tiny amount each time (not even a tea spoon amount), Now i went to the doctors to see what was going on and he said at this stage i should not worry. Around 40% do bleed at around 4 ,8 and 12 weeks. Also he said i have no other simptons of mis carriage. This gave me a little confort but im still worried about it. Has anyone else had this? Should i be worried. PLease help?

yes... I had bleeding at 9 weeks.

Everyone is different... and have different reasons for bleeding. Usually implantation bleeding. Mine was from a small hemorridge that healed up fine. But there are so many other possiblities... including misscarridge (but definitly not limited to). Did your Dr. run any tests? Bloodwork done with a 2 days in between to test hormone levels or a US?

I also had bleeding early on at 10 weeks. It was red spotting a for about 5 hours in the morning and was only evident when I wiped after using the bathroom. There was no blood in my panties or anything. In a panic I called my doctor and she saw me right away. She told me there was nothing to worry about because I didn't have cramping or anything and the blood wasn't heavy. I was still afraid and she told me it wasn't healthy for the baby or for me to go around being a basketcase all day. So to further ease my concerns she sent me for a quick ultrasound. The baby was fine heartbeat was good. I'm 16 weeks now.

Have you ever heard of a Disappearing Twin? I had bleeding at 9 weeks due to what we think was a Disappearing twin. Maybe that could be your problem... it happens alot more than u would think.

I think you don't worry now.
If doctors are saying there is not to worry, i think instead of worrying you just take care of your health.
