Is it possible that I can be induced simply because I cannot even walk? I am so uncomfortable that I cannot walk, sit, or lay. It physically hurts and I am in so much pain. What can I do?

im so sorry for you. yes if everything is great and no complications then your doctor can enduce you. i just had my baby a month ago 9 days early she was my 5th and last. ive never just went into labor on my own always enduce. i explained to my doctor my symptoms and i just cryed my doctor did all the needed tests and found no reason to enduce or not to so we went for it. talk with your doctor and i hope this finds you having a baby within the next week and i hope every thing goes well. i know its hard to relax as nothing really helps at this time in pregnancy. but then again maybe everything is so uncomfortable cause the baby is pushing on your hips and spine making everything spread so he/she can come out. good luck hun.

well i feel bad for you, I am suprised you have not discussed this with your doctor prior to now. I am 32 weeks and my dr is inducing me at 38 weeks by me just asking him and explaining that I have to " plan" this labor do to my other children.

try to take a warm bath...it'll relax you some. drink herbal tea while you soak...it's said to help induce
