Ticket "scalpers" (businesses that resell good seats, not individuals on street corners) sometimes have them. If you know the label's distributor, say, by being the person placing purchasing orders at a music retail store, you can sometimes get them that way. Knowing someone connected with the label and having a good reason for knowing them can sometimes score passes.

Realize a backstage pass or VIP doesn't necessarily mean getting to meet the band members, but often it does.

You could also try waiting after the show where equipment is loaded/unloaded, usually near the back of the venue. Be very polite with security. Make small talk. Be persistent but not to the point of being annoying. Do leave if they threaten trespassing charges. Depending on your luck, you can sometimes meet band members for autographs this way (do bring a CD and a Sharpie). This approach works best with smaller venues.

the only 2 uncomplicated ways to get in the back of the curtain passes are to win them from the radio or be close acquaintances with them regrettably, in this stay overall performance u cant get to the venue early and get in the back of the curtain passes
