I saved what i needed on a backup disk but my ibook is not letting use office games and limewire due to some library folder error.reboot it with my osx cds should i?

If i were you i would do a full system recovery, and restore it back to factory settings. That way, you know everything will be there.

Try doing a little maintence.Boot from cd and from the installer menu select disk utility. Use the option to repair the hard drive. After that is done use the option to repair permissions. Sometimes user accounts get corrupted. You can create a new user name with Admin. priv. and see if that works.At the worst you can do a "archive and install saving user settings"
