There are quite a few motives for an expiration date on a bottle of ingesting water. some states require that each foodstuff merchandise has an expiration date, so even candy or nuts and different perishables would have them. the different reason is the flavor. as long as a bottle of water maintains to be unopened, that's risk-free to drink. The flavor however can substitute over the path of time. The plastic of the container could make the flavor bypass undesirable while it somewhat isn't any longer stored appropriate. additionally, photograph voltaic can become worse the plastic and upload to the undesirable style. Many gases are able to bypass by way of plastics, that can influence the flavor of bottled water. For those motives, continuously shop plastic bottles in a dry dark place with out the presence of substantial different and childrens chemical compounds (paint thinner, gas and dry cleansing chemical compounds). that's reported that as quickly as a bottle of water is opened, that's used interior 2 weeks, by using fact algae or micro organism can start to advance and could reason well being hazards. So bottled water would not ruin while unopened, however the flavor can substitute over the years and a few states require an expiration date. that's why bottled water has an expiration date.

The water would stay fine if it weren't for the fact that the material that the bottle is made out of degrades to eventually become toxic.

I think the water becomes deionized water. Won't hurt you but the flavor is affected. Water isn't generally just hydrogen and oxygen, it's potassium, sodium, manganese, iron, magnesium, chlorine, and just all sorts of various elements and compounds.

Due to "added chemicals". Kind of retarded eh? Why buy bottled water when you can just turn on your faucet. BUT there are chemicals in that too. (Flueride to name one.) It's why I go to my local spring & fill containers with water to drink & cook with.
