My 11 month old daughter rolls on her belly so I have put her diaper on backwards and they have never leaked but someone said that it was dumb to do so.

As long as it doesn't leak that's the whole purpose of a diaper, to keep the "substances" inside the diaper and not on her clothing.
Don't see anything wrong with it, better then getting a rope and restraining her to the bed and then putting it on correctly, right?

Whatever way you can get the job done, go for it! They say there is more than one way to skin a cat (horrible saying, I know), so why not say that there is more than one way to diaper a baby.
Don't listen to other people's ill-informed, judgemental and narrow-minded opinions on the way you are raising your child! Even regarding a simple issue like changing a diaper.

Who cares what other people say? If your daughter is happy and diapered, it shouldn't matter the method that you use to get it on her. Don't worry about looking "dumb" as someone said.

WELL FOR STARTERS WE ARE ALL IN THIS WONDERFULL LIFE CALLED PARENTING. IF THIS WORKS FOR YOU CONTINUE DOING SO HELL I USED TO HAVE TO USE DUCK TAPE AS MY SON USED TO TAKE HIS DIAPER OFF AND RUN NAKED DIDNT MATTER IF WE WERE IN THE STORE OR AT HOME. ALSO IF IT BOTHERS YOU PAMPERS HAS THE CRUISERS THEY PULL UP LIKE A PULL UP BUT ARE A DIAPER THIS WAY NO MORE LAYING DOWN TO PUT IT ON.

Not wrong, but could be messy due to leakage. Don't worry, as she gets older, she'll get even harder to diaper!

She will be running around soon, (if not already) and as the poops get bigger they will squeeze out with the smaller area. Pretty clever solution though, even if only temporary.

as long as you get it on. I have to put my sons diaper on with him standing up wait til you mater that once you do you can do anything
