What are you asking? I think a person who marries for financial security is selling themselves just like a prostitute. I can understand marrying one person, loving them, falling out of love with them for various reasons, then falling in love with somone else but, I can't understand loving one and marrying someone else for any reason.

Are you Assuming that is what happened? Shouldn't you ask? and if she told you that and you want a women to love you for who you are aren't you glad she went to the other guy? Because if you have no money and that is what she wants in life then she would be unhappy in a relationship with no security. There is nothing wrong in wanting to be with someone who is financially responsible. Poverty is not charming who wants someone who cannot save? Waste even money waste is not attractive. I did not understand the question really but I hope I answered it a little bit.

Be grateful you did NOT marry that woman because she has shown you that material gain supercedes true commitment in her world.
Chances are, you would have not been supported or encouraged to become a more stable provider with her in your life because clearly, money matters more to her.
Forgive her? YES.
Life is too short to hold grudges and negativity. Besides, success is the greatest revenge! (smile)
Forget her? NO.
Remember the qualities you liked (and disliked) in her and seek more compatible aspects in someone more suitable.
Move onward and upward!

May or may not forgive; but do forget her! She does not deserve to be remembered at all. And becuase she does not matter, where is the question of forgiving or even not forgiving.
