is it okay to have severe cramps before period.....and not have any during the period??????????
please help!!!!!! Is there an infection or something coz i dont have sex and i dont masturbate either!!

Yes it is perfectly normal. Women mostly have cramps because the cervix is slightly opening to allow the blood flow. For most women, once it's open there are no more cramps. You should exercise a little, and/or take a nice hot bath...
And since you brought it up, masturbating (or sex with a caring partner) would actually help your muscles relax, thus alleviating your cramps.

You're ok. I go through the smae thing pretty much. Right before my period I get the worst freakin cramps. Then when i get it im good. It's just your uterus and muscles contracting to bring everything out.

It's normal. I'm the same way. I cramp in the middle of my cycle around the time i think I'm ovulating, but I never cramp when I'm on my period.

even though you're probably okay, it's best to see a doctor to completely soothe your worries and "just in case"
