I assume you are making a reference to intolerance or racism. However,in making the statement you have stereotyped an entire nation, thus demonstrating intolerance and bigotry of your own.

As one of those ignorants, I have to ask this. If we are so ignorant, why is it in just over two hundred years we have managed to build a society that has more money, a stronger military, the best doctors and hospitals, the best colleges, a better standard of living, than all you super intelligent Europeans? Why do you think we have all the opportunity? Maybe because we were intelligent enough to build a land of opportunity while you sat around whining. Or trying to sneak across our borders to get here.

I agree with you, but would have preferred a specific example of ignorance to which you state. I for one would have mentioned their intolerance to other religions, yet complete misunderstanding of the first amendment of the constitution, which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,".

well maybe because we don't have to live with ourselves in the morning. we have televison, pills, advertisements, and tons of media telling us to follow the crowd. in other places around the world, this doesn't exist. you have to wake up and struggle to live. there is no time to discriminate, and it won't get you anywhere.
