Which NES game could this be? Help me please?

There is a NES game that I want to find out. If I can find this game I'll be so happy. Here you go:

- It's a sidescroller game, like Contra.
- Our hero is something like a commando or warrior.
- AS FAR AS I can remember: The first level is in a jungle. Further levels are a cityscape, and maybe on a moving train. ALSO I remember a level called "Afghan" or something like that...
- I suppose we could throw grenades...

Anyway, that's all I can remember, and I used to like that game very much. If you know this game, please tell me.
