Well, considerring the Islamo-Fascists have been fighting this war for a few decades... no. Bush being out of the office will not stop the war... the question is will that fact stop us from continuing the fight. Will we go back to the days where we ignore terrorist attacks on Americans?

It depends on several things, and Bush's mental health is one factor. If he panics and gets the United States into a wider War trying to save his reputation, the United States will be turned to Civil War or Empire, or both.
If on the other hand, Bush is man enough to let the chips fall where they are going to fall, then we could start getting out of Iraq at the end of this year.
Let us all hold hands and pray for George W. Bush's mental health and good sense. He needs to give up on this war and face the music. He will still be the 41st President of the United States which is reward enough.

Not right away. Maybe after negotiations with the new president are begun then it will be worked out.

We did not get out of Viet Nam until 1975, but the negotiation had gotten a halt to the War progressively from 1970.

It is not likely to stop immediately, but within a moderate time span. Although, Bush may have been instrumental in getting the War started, it isn't that easy to terminate it after he is finish in his term of office. There are many political complications to be dealt with which preclude an automatic stop and withdrawal of all peacekeeping troops.

Yes, the first person who occupies the Oval Office will quickly withdraw US forces from Iraq. Bush has as much as admitted so and 75% of the troops and even a large percentage of Americans want that.

If they are smart, no. We started things that we need to finish. As much as a lot of us were against the invasion of Iraq, we realize that leaving now will be disastrous. Bush and his cronies didn't listen to reason and now we're going to be paying the price for years to come. It will take another administration or two to clear up the mess Bush left us.

No, impeaching Bush won't end the conflict in Iraq through fact we've disturbed that u . s . a .'s infrastructure a lot that we will not in good ethical experience depart them interior the fix we've created. chickening out our troops right now could be much greater risky, a lot as we opt to achieve this. besides impeachment could take too long and he would be out of place of work in the previous it might desire to be performed and our government has too many stuff to middle its interest on purely now. i could opt to have seen him impeached approximately 4 years in the past.
