I never was fired but I certainly came close to it. I started to argue with my boss about my attitude toward a customer who had insulted me and I lost. He put me on probation for several weeks and it all worked out OK. It, clearly, was my fault. Later on in my career I had to fire several people for various reasons and it wasn't easy. I stewed over it for several days and then I had to do it. They all got other jobs and did well I'm told. I wasn't a tyrant and it hurt me to fire someone.

Yes. This was a long time ago. I was working and I had to move the convoy van to another place. Well me and the mechanics jetted off to go smoke some pot. Got stoned and were late. So we both were driving like mad. I turned late and ran the van into a ditch. We were just going to pull it out. No big deal. But the tattler on the crew hurried and told the bosses. So needless to say I had a drug test that night and failed. Got fired 2 days later. Then got rehired the next year.

I got fired from a waitress job.

Bosses were jerks, left me to run the whole restaurant. It was me, 2 cooks and 1 new girl who didn't know the difference between decaf or regular. Some one complained about the bad service and call the owners . The owners call me on the phone and tell me I am fired. So I just left and didn't care that I still had people waiting for there food and drinks.

i got fired from a volunteer job!
It was a very prestigious volunteer counseling job. I am told if you work for these guys for a year, you can get into any grad school program you want. I think I got it made, but then only a few training sessions in, and they call me to give me a old heave-ho. I explained that i would improve upon what they had found to be my error, but they wouldn't have it, and I cried.
I'm traumatized about volunteer jobs, now I only take paying jobs.

Things have a way of working out fine. Find something you prefer. If you were unjustly fired, call a lawyer, get enough $$ to help u till u get a new job.

Yep... I was a waitress and I got caught giving away queso dip to some employees who were dining in on their day off. Pretty lame.

Yes from a little Pizza Shop. I was not very heart broken; i chose God over being a waitress.
