When I was younger but now I pay for the electricity.

Yes, because my TV is very, very old and if I turn it off for 8 hours and turn it back on the picture is completely screwed up for 10 or 20 minutes until it warms back up. Must be the picture tube or something. Besides, I heard turning it off and on costs more energy than just leaving it alone. Kinda like computers and those stand-by modes. Without the TV I would turn on the news radio station because I can not fall asleep without a TV or radio on. I keep thinking about stuff I don't like thinking about and can't clear my mind out without a TV or radio on.

No, when ever i feel tired i go to bed. Which is upstairs.
And the t.v is downstairs...
And the couch isn't a place where i could fall asleep actually.
But my father feels differently about that. Because he falls asleep in front of the t.v a lot.

I can sleep with the tv on. And I have but the volume has to be turned off.
