No, not at all, NEVER. You should never abort a child just to save your own skin. It is wrong. Even if your life depended on it. It is weak, selfish and cowardice to think that it is ok to abort a child because some doctor says you will die as a result.

Doctors are not God! So they cannot predict the date of your death. You will die when you are meant to die and even if it is after you have given birth to your child. It is an honourable way to die. Don't you worry someone will definitely look after your baby. No-one will leave an innocent child to die. It goes against every moral bone in the body to kill an innocent helpless child or to watch them die.

I'm not sure if you believe in God but deep down you know it is wrong. some people feel it resonate throughout their whole being and know that it is wrong whether they believe in God or not. I am not religious but I do believe in God.

God could use that baby to save you in the end. Only God knows these things. Not the doctor. They are only people and are often wrong. You've had a few good years of life to live. Shouldn't your son deserve the same? Somebody will mother him. If it isn't your time you won't die regardless what the doctor says. Either way you don't kill an innocent child to save yourself. Most parents would jump in front of a bullet to save their child. It's natural instinct. What kind of parent wouldn't. What is the difference here except that the child in the womb is truly helpless and totally dependant on you to do the right thing!

Hmmm very tough but very good question. I had an abortion long ago and swore I would never do it again. Also, looking at the children I have now, I couldn't imagine aborting them. Is there anyway the embryo can grow in a dish or maybe if they could transfer the zygote to a surrogate mother? I would explore other options before considering abortion. Plus, since I already have children, I have an obligation to the living to live. If I have to, I may have to abort and hate myself in the morning for it....UGH!!

Absolutely. I respect those who choose to keep the baby... it makes for a good pregnancy story if the mother survives.

The human body has miscarriages all of the time because the body knows that the baby won't survive. Abortion gives the mother a chance to manipulate things into her favor (her life). There is nothing wrong with that choice.

I once had a friend who was pregnant and had problems already giving birth so things for her were already complicated but she still wanted the baby until she found out that the baby wouldn't make the delivery. unfortunately the baby had developed a sack on his/her head which kept the baby from developing properly. when she found this out and knew that delivery could cause her some major complications she had me drive her to have the abortion. I am not one for abortion but with something like that I would probably do it. so it all depends on the situation and dire it is I think.

Yes...
Most likely any reason that I would be in that much danger the baby would prolly be in just as much.Although it would be incredably painful emotionaly. I would rather abort and possibly try again later or adopt. Than to lose both my baby and myself.
My Husband wouldnt let me kill myself either.

i would have to end the pregnancy i have 4 other children to consider. and i wouldn't go ahead with a pregnancy that could end my life and leave them without a mother.
for the person who said we should lose our mothers right for making this decision grow up and lets hope you or your partner are never in this position.

if i already had a kid who was very small like below 10, then i wud have aborted because a kid needs their mother, but if the same kid was above 10, i wud have given birth to the second one becoz the first one can take care of himself but on the other hand after i give birth and die then my second baby wud suffer....so in short it depends upon te situation...
For example if my child had cancer and they needed a bone marrow match, then i wud have taken this complication to give life to my kid.

No I would not abort. I would pray and have others to pray for me that God would intervene and save both me and my unborn child. Science has proven that prayer does change things.
