The name 'Bohemia' refers to the old European country where the Thirty Years War took place in 1616 - 1648. This war marked the end of the Roman Catholic dominance in the Church on Earth and birth of a new freedom in spiritual matters.
The Spiritual meaning of the song BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY corresponds to the Last Judgment on this Old Church consumed by evils and falsities from self-love and love of the world and love of domination. This song also corresponds to the Birth of a New Church based on Love to the Lord and charity towards the neighbor through the revelation of the Internal Sense of the Word.
This is similar to the spiritual meaning of the books of Zechariah 12, 13, 14 shown in Apocalypse Revealed 707(2).
This Spiritual meaning of BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is derived from the ancient science of correspondences and the Internal Sense of the Word revealed to Emanuel Swedenborg in the 1700's
Is this the real life -
Is this just fantasy -
This verse corresponds to the deluge of falsities entering the Old Church (the Roman Catholic and Reformed Churches) in the spiritual world. The influence of this ‘deluge’ of falsities and delusions takes place before a Last Judgment and can still be seen currently in the Church on earth from the lack of any heavenly knowledge or wisdom(which is found in the Lord's Word) about life after death, the spiritual world and the Lord’s eternal Heaven

My interpretation is a man has killed someone and has to get away before he gets caught and sent to prison, but he gets caught anyway and the rest of the song is about his "trial" in the courtroom and is sentenced to death and then he accepts his punishment and what he has done and then "nothing really matters" anymore.
My sister's interpretation is that they were high while writing that song.

It is a man in trial in front of a Judge (possibly God or a supernatural being due to the foreign words), yet it is all in his mind (the song ended it doesn't really matter to me). The song tells of a society of how people think, in this case it is hard to determine what is right or wrong now. It took me a while to figure this out.

Interpretation of a lyric is whatever it means to you; not the author. So what do YOU think it means? ;-)
