Because it wouldn't sound as good.
The original name was going to be Oraltene, but marketing advised against the use of Oral as part of the name of a drink mix targeted at children.

Ovaltene is a chocolaty breakfast drink from the early 1950's. It was first advertised on a morning TV show starring JET JACKSON and his sidekick "Ichy", Ichabod Mudd. A fighter pilot who always saved the day...
Perhaps the jar had an oval shape back then? Why don't you do some advanced research on the product line?

I don't know. Why do you park on a driveway, and drive on a parkway? And furthermore, what about the alphabet? I mean how did it get in that order? You think because of that song?

Har - ahem, d, har-har.
the alphabet "got" in that order due to its etymological roots.
aleph meant cow in yiddish (looks like an upside down A)
bethel meant home (looks like a B on its side)
etc...
