Aside from the color, there is a difference between the skulls. Hybrids occur in the wild, so they are very closely related.

Polar bear of course in the artic area, going from 600 - 1200 pounds, and about 7.5 - 8.5 feet. Now the Grizzly bear located in the NW of US is from 400 - 1500 pounds and can go from 5 to 9 feet tall. Little trivia, is that a grizzly bear could be kept as a pet as a polar bear are too wild to keep as a pet. Polar Bear is white of course and the Grizzly is brown aka Brown Bear as the grizzled fur giving it its name. Polar bear will come after you for food and the grizzly at least you got a chance to scare it away. hahaha

Polar bears are accustomed to the cold, wintery life they live.
Grizzly bears live in forests and are used to a warmer climate.

The foods they eat are also different; polars don't eat berries, and grizzlies don't eat seals [usually].
