I'ved had this fish since it was born. I seperated the babies from the main tank and raised them. Not many survived, and this is the last one left. He is large now and about a year old. Latley he has been agressive with other fish. He is naturally red, and is not a goldfish. Grayish brownish scales are now running down his spine and a few tiny dots have appeared on his body. his nostrils are completley brown. It looks like some kind of disease. Anybody know what? and how I can fix it?

Since you aren't sure what kind of fish it is your best bet on yahoo answers is providing a picture of it. If this is a fish you really care about you should take it to a vet.
